Turkish art to be presented in Seoul city

Contemporary Istanbul will be exhibiting Turkish contemporary art in Seoul. The event, organized within the greater Encounters: Turkish Contemporary Art in Korea project will present Turkish art in the Far East.

The event aims to promote Turkish art and culture in the Far East. Event organizers also hope to create a market for Turkish art in Korea.

The event, which will be held between Sept. 6 and 26, will feature 54 artists from Turkey and exhibit a total of 100 works. The exhibition will give place to artworks created after the 1990s, the era when Turkish art moved from the modern to the contemporary style.
