Turkey’s largest tech fest to be held in Istanbul this month

Turkey’s first aerospace and technology festival will be held on Sept. 20-23 at Istanbul’s new airport.
The fair will include air shows, aviation demonstrations, technology competitions, seminars on cutting-edge technology, and an international entrepreneurship summit among other activities.
Competitions will be held in 12 different categories by some of Turkey’s leading defense and technology institutions and corporations such as Aselsan, Baykar, IGA, İsbak, Roketsan, Turkish Aerospace Industries (TAI), Turkish Airlines, the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (TÜBİTAK) and TÜRKSAT.
Moreover, an international start-up summit, the HackIstanbul 2018 CTF (Capture the Flag) contest, and World Drone Cup tournament will be held as side events of the festival.
More than 20 partners including government bodies, private companies, and academic institutions will support the event.
