Turkey will make an appearance at the Beijing International Book Fair before the event ends in the Chinese capital this weekend, according to a statement from the Culture and tourism Ministry.

A panel discussion on the Turkish book market will be held as part of the events, the ministry said, adding that delegations would conduct talks to reciprocally make China the guest country of the Istanbul International Book Fair in 2013 and Turkey the guest of the Beijing International Book Fair in 2014. The written statement also said the current fair was gathering authors, publishers, copyright agencies, distributors and book sellers.
