Turkey condemns latest Israeli settlement projects
ANKARA
Turkey has condemned Israel over the advancement of the procedure related to the construction of 1,588 additional units in the West Bank.
“We condemn the Israeli authorities’ advancement of the procedure related to the construction of 1,588 additional units at illegal settlements in the West Bank, which remains under occupation,” the Foreign Ministry said in a written statement on Oct. 18.
“These unacceptable violations of the most fundamental rights of the Palestinian people destroy the grounds for a two-state solution,” it added.
