Truck drives into metrobus lane, halts traffic

Traffic froze in Istanbul’s Küçükçekmece today after a truck driver drove his vehicle into the metrobus lane, wounding an as yet unknown number of people, according to Doğan news agency.

Metrobus rides stopped immediately following the accident, and passengers are being warned against attempting to use the metrobus. People flooded the metrobus lane, attempting to complete their journey on foot, causing traffic jams in both directions.
