Tourism Summit to kick-off

The 2012 Turkey Tourism Summit, which will take place Feb. 8 in Istanbul, will explore how the global economic crisis will affect Turkey’s tourism industry both in terms of opportunities and risks.

This will be Turkey’s first national tourism summit. Speakers will include Tourism Minister Ertuğrul Günay, Turkish Industry and Business Association (TÜSİAD) President Ümit Boyner, Association of Turkish Travel Agencies (TÜRSAB) President Başaran Ulusoy, and representatives from Thomas Cook, TUI, and WTTC.
