Longtime Turkish pop superstar Ajda Pekkan pocketed close to a quarter-million Turkish Liras for a Ramadan bayram holiday concert she have earlier this week in the Muğla’s popular holiday town Bodrum.
The 66-year-old singer took home the highest amount of money of any singer over the bayram, earning 200,000 liras for her performance, according to daily Sabah.

Singer Funda Arar was second on the list, receiving 150,000 liras for a concert in Turkish Cyprus.
Another name on the list was Hadise, who represented Turkey in the 2009 Eurovision Song Contest with her song “Düm tek tek.” She was paid 100,000 liras for another concert in Turkish Cyprus.
