The Turkish Football Federation (TFF) has warned Beşiktaş that it will fine Croatian coach Slaven Bilic if he smokes during a game again.

The TFF issued a verbal statement to the Super League club saying Bilic had been found smoking a cigarette inside a stadium despite the no-smoking ban, adding that the coach would be hit with a fine if he committed a second offense.

Photographs of Bilic smoking while watching the Galatasaray vs. Gaziantepspor game at the Türk Telekom Arena in Istanbul caused controversy when they were spread on social media last week.

Smoking inside stadiums is banned, according to the regulation.

The TFF said Bilic would be fined if he smoked inside a stadium again, either in the stands or on the bench.
