A shooter who killed two female students when he attacked a school bus yesterday in the southern province of Osmaniye was found dead earlier today, Doğan news agency reported.

Sinan Dursun, 29, called police to tell them that he was at the same school where the students he shot had been studying at.

The suspect's body was found when the police arrived at the scene. Dursun reportedly committed suicide with the same gun he used in the bus attack, a police investigation revealed.

The two students were killed yesterday afternoon and another was wounded when Dursun ambushed their school bus as it left the school grounds at the end of the school day.

Three 16-year-old girls were wounded at the scene and were taken immediately to a nearby hospital. Two of the girls died while the third is still undergoing treatment.

According to reports, Dursun’s romantic advances were spurned by one of the girls on the bus, leading him to take revenge. The girl in question died in the attack.
