Say to accompany BIFO on Muğla stage
Turkish virtuoso pianist Fazıl Say and the Borusan Istanbul Philharmonic Orchestra (BIFO) are collaborating on stage for a special performance tonight in the southern province of Muğla as part of the 8th D-Marin International Classical Music Festival. The concert repertoire includes Say’s “Mesopotamia,” which was performed for the first time at the 40th Istanbul Music Festival. BIFO will be conducted by Gürer Aykal. The first half of the program features Tchaikovsky’s Piano Concerto No. 1.
