A young woman, raised by an animal-breeding family in the southern district of Antalya, has started a new e-business by selling sacrificial animals on the Internet for the upcoming Eid al-Adha (Feast of Sacrifice) holiday.

Duygu Yasak sold 70 percent of her stock within three days after coming up with the idea of selling sacrificial animals.

"We should keep up with the new technologies," said Yasak, who defined herself as a "young entrepreneur.".

"One might think that animal breeding has nothing to do with social media, but sales seem to be going quite well," she added.
