Runner dies of heart attack during Istanbul’s Eurasia Marathon One of the contestants in today’s 34th Vodafone Eurasia Marathon in Istanbul suffered a heart attack and died at the scene, according to daily Hürriyet.

Ali Serdar Yalın, 34, was running the 15-kilometer race when he suddenly collapsed. 

Thousands of runners crossed the continents over the Bosphorus Bridge as part of today’s race.
