Members of a platform formed by representatives of NGOs in Çanakkale raised their voices yesterday against the chosen location of a new Gallipoli 1915 Panorama Museum in the Ağadere district, saying it was a place of martyrdom, not museums.Speaking on behalf of the platform Hilmi Çelik said: “there is a need for a panorama museum but it should be built in a different place.”
Noting that Ağadere is the registered place of martyrdom, Çelik said: “The Culture and Nature Protection Association has registered the area where 850 martyrs lie.”
