Woman in Bursa rides paralyzed dog in stroller
Banu Baltacı, 39, who lives in Bursa, takes her disabled dog out every day on a baby stroller.
When she adopted the dog five months ago, Baltacı found out that the dog had a “youth illness” and that some of his limbs were paralyzed.
“There is no point in imprisoning an animal home because he cannot walk,” she said, adding that she found the solution in a baby stroller because she was not able to carry the dog in her arms.
Baltacı says that her dog, named “Bıdık” (Tubby), is very happy when he is out. "Those who see me walk the dog in a stroller think I'm crazy,” she added.
“I wanted his feet to touch the ground even if he cannot walk, get the fresh air and see the sun,” Baltacı says.
“We gather in the evening with our friends in the park. When I walk around with him, he gets fresh air and sleeps more comfortably,” she said.
