Orsk, which was accompanied by Turkish military vessels during the Dardanelles crossing, was returning from the Mediterranean to its base in the Black Sea.
According to Demirören News Agency, 16 Russian military ships have crossed Turkish straits since the last week of August.
They were bound for Russian bases in the Syrian cities of Latakia and Tartus to participate in a naval exercise before Moscow’s airstrikes on Idlib.
