The multiple vehicle collision happened in the Çankaya district at 10:30 a.m. when visibility was as low as 20 meters due to the fog. A sudden brake at the start of the queue, coupled with an icy road, led 25 vehicles to crash into each other.
A sudden brake at the start of the queue, coupled with an icy road, led 25 vehicles to crash into each other. “Everyone hit each other one by one. The road was soon blocked,” one driver, Didem Soyuyüce, told Demirören News Agency.
