One soldier was killed on Oct. 30 in an outlawed Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) attack in the eastern province of Hakkari, Doğan News Agency has reported.

PKK militants opened fire on soldiers in the Çukurca district of Hakkari.

Meanwhile, five PKK militants were “neutralized” in an operation which was conducted by security forces following the attack.
