One person  was killed on Nov. 4 when a car laden with explosives was detonated while a police car passed by in the eastern province of Hakkari’s Şemdinli district center, Doğan news agency has reported.

13 people were injured in the blast. The wounded were immediately transferred to Şemdinli's state hospital.

Houses and work places near by were damaged from the blast.

Electricity was reportedly cut off in the district after explosion.
