One ISIL militant killed, 21 detained along Turkey’s Syrian border

One suspected militant of the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) was killed while 21 people were detained along Turkey’s border with Syria, the Turkish Armed Forces has said.An official statement released on the website of Turkey’s Chief of Staff stated that an ISIL militant was killed trying to cross into the Turkish border town of Kilis from Syria.
It was also reported that 21 people were detained, including nine children, while crossing the Turkish border through illegal means.
