No striker in critical condition, says Justice Ministry

The Ministry of Justice issued a statement today on the issue of today of the hunger striking prisoners. It also denied accusations that the subsistence allowances of the strikers were not being provided for them by the prison administrations."At the moment we note that there are 682 hunger strikers in 67 prisons in Turkey. We are regularly giving all strikers a measure of salt, honey and sugar. None of them is in a critical health condition," the statement said.
