Mr. Statik to master the turntables at Hall tonight

Club Hall is hosting BPitch Control Night with Mr. Statik tonight. The party starts at 10 p.m. and tickets are available at the club’s main booth. Stathis Kalatzis is the man behind the Mr. Statik moniker.Born in 1978, he grew up in Volos, where his musical influences go back to 1990 and the rising hardcore/breakbeat scene. Moving to Athens to study political science at Panteion University, coupled with a firm embrace of techno music, led to the formation of Improvize, a mobile party with DJ Chevy that aimed to create a fresh sound in techno and house in all its forms.
