Mary McBride to perfrom at Shaft
New York-based singer and songwriter Mary McBride will be at Istanbul’s Shaft club tonight at 10:30 pm. Mary McBride, featured on-screen and on the soundtrack of the Oscar-winning film Brokeback Mountain, has released four albums – “Everything Seemed Alright,” “By Any Other Name,” “Every Day Is a Holiday,” and “The Way Home,” drawing critical acclaim from major media outlets, including CNN, The Washington Post, The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal and more.
Mary has performed thousands of live shows worldwide in the US, Europe, and Asia with her band featuring guitarist Paul Carbonara (Blondie), keyboardist Jon Spurney (Lou Reed, David Byrne), bassist Greg Beshers (Ian Moore, Rhett Miller), and drummer Mark Stepro (Butch Walker, Ben Kweller).
