Man stabs his wife and daughters in southern Turkey

A man allegedly stabbed his wife and two daughters in the southern province of Sivas yesterday.

D.K., a construction worker, stabbed his 39-year-old wife, Ü.K., after a dispute over unknown reasons.

D.K. then stabbed his 17 and 15-year-old daughters, who tried to save their mother, and escaped.

The mother is in critical condition while the daughters’ condition is not life-threatening.

Police are searching for the suspect and a prosecutor has initiated an investigation.
