Man commits suicide in Ankara police department

A cleaning worker has committed suicide in the Ankara Police Department building, using a gun belonging to a police officer, Doğan news agency has reported today.İbrahim Eroğlu, 44, reportedly took the gun from a police officer’s drawer on the third floor of the building and shot himself in the early hours today.
An investigation has been launched into the incident and Eroğlu's body has been sent to a forensic medical institute for an autopsy.
A legal process has also been opened into the police officer whose gun was used in the incident, regarding how a cleaning worker so easily reached a gun in the building.
