Magdalena Abakanowicz show at Akbank

Magdalena Abakanowicz, a Polish sculptor born in 1930, is participating in Akbank’s latest exhibition with works that question the odyssey of man, who set off an adventure that was to change the face of the world. The artist is especially known for her series of “Abakans,” gigantic three-dimensional fiber works that are made out of woven material. The exhibition started Nov. 20 and will continue until Jan. 30, 2013. Curator: Hasan Bülent Kahraman
