Turkey’s Hürkuş, the training plane, was revealed in a ceremony late last month.

The European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) has granted Turkish Aerospace Industries (TAI) design certification for its ongoing Hürkuş project, a training plane.

TAI had applied for the safety certification in 2007. This was the first time a Turkish body had received such a certification from EASA.

The significance of Hurkus is huge as it will be the forerunner to many other aeronautical creations as well as establishing an industry that will support this activity. All the investments will be self financing because of exports.I suggest we seek active partners to further develop the industry in Turkiye and gain very valuable support and of course time.Good luck Turkiye though I am sure you won't need it.
