Local technology firm attends in Paris expo

A local technology company, Informatik Information Technologies, took its place at the Cartes Exhibition held in Paris from Nov. 19 to 21, 2013.

“The company displayed its PCI-certified new generation EFT-POS cash register device, inPOS m120, which is the first and only product with research and development activities and production carried out in Turkey, and software and hardware designed by Turkish engineers, stands also out with its physical durability and advanced technology,” the company said. “As Informatik Information Technologies, we are providing service in the field of information technologies for the last nine years,” said Aykın Ademoğlu, general manager of Informatik Information Technologies. He noted that their company that had 100 percent domestic capital, had been expanding its field of production in Turkey. They aimed to export to overseas, he added.

The use of EFT-POS cash registers became a legal obligation in Turkey since Oct. 1, 2013.
