Kilimanjaro Darkjazz takes the stage

The Kilimanjaro Darkjazz Ensemble (TKDE) will perform at Babylon tonight. The Dutch ensemble was originally formed to create new soundtracks for legendary silent films like “Nosferatu” and “Metropolis,” but the addition of new members in 2004 led to a debut album in 2006 and the establishment of a multi-national, multi-genre outfit combining jazz, post-rock and electronica. The band’s use of visual technology is just as impressive as their sound, and TKDE offers an impressive performance that will delight all of the audiences’ senses. This concert is supported by the Kingdom of the Netherlands, as part of this year’s celebrations of the 400th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Turkey and the Netherlands.
