KFC and Pizza Hut brands sold in Turkey

65 KFC and 41 Pizza Hut restaurants are sold in Turkey. Hürriyet photo

Yum! Restaurants International, which operates in more than 125 countries, has bought 65 KFC and 41 Pizza Hut restaurants officially in Turkey from Süzer Group.

Süzer Group has held the name rights of the two brands for a long time under the umbrella of Turkent. Yum! Restaurants International CEO, Micky Pant, said Turkey is a rapidly growing market. “Following the acquisition, our first aim is to grow continuously and to add new restaurants to our service network.” Sabir Sami has been appointed as the general manager of KFC and Pizza Hut in Turkey. He had been president of the Canada branch of Yum! Restaurants for the previous four years.
