Karsan unveils cab prototype

Karsan showcased its “Taxi of Tomorrow” prototype for the first time at the Amsterdam RAI Expo 2011 taxi fair.The company will begin producing the V1 in 2013 and plans to export the model to various metropolitan cities in North America, Erope and Asia.
“Our main reason for being a part of the fair is to get feedback from regulators and authorities. We have two more years to test our model and make last-minute changes before producing it in 2013,” said Levent Erdoğan, head of Karsan’s Lightweight Cargo Vehicle Program.
