Italian gothic metal band Theatres des Vampires is visiting Istanbul for an extraordinary performance at The Mekan. The concert starts at 8:30 p.m. and tickets are available at the venue’s main booth. Mostly noted for the predominant theme of vampirism in their lyrics, Theatres des Vampires have encompassed a vast spectrum of styles during their career. In the beginning of their career, the band was widely regarded as a melodic black metal band. However, in time the band introduced a gothic approach. Their most recent album “Moonlight Waltz” took a turn in the symphonic direction, utilizing a full orchestra, resulting in the most bombastic sound in the band’s history.
