The head of Israel’s Mossad, Tamir Pardo, met secretly with the Turkish intelligence agency’s undersecretary, Hakan Fidan, on June 10 in Ankara, with Syria and Iran on the agenda.

Pardo requested an appointment to meet with Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. Erdoğan, however, has not yet responded to this request.

Fidan and Pardo shared information about the latest situation in Syria as well as the influence of Iran in the country. They also discussed intelligence sharing between the two countries at the meeting, which came before a significant meeting on the fate of Syria, the Geneva II summit set to take place in July.

The sources also claimed to have information that Iranian Revolutionary Guards and the Syrian intelligence unit, al-Mukhaberat, are working against Turkey.

Fidan and Pardo also reprotedly discussed the ongoing protests in Turkey, which started two weeks ago to oppose a development project in Istanbul’s Taksim Gezi Park and spread to the other parts of the country.

Ooops seems like a zionist alert. They conveniently forget about their racist apartheid state. They put aside any thought of the worlds largest open air prison and the collective punishment of its citizens contrary to international law. The West Bank a subjugated and oppressed series of ghettoes. The lebensraum, the murder, the torture of adults and children.. As for hate, there is no more hateful a people than zionists and settlers. What was it the French Ambassador to London called it.

Turkey has already tried the partnership with the trio of righteous Asad-Nasralla-Ahmedinigad and what came out? Only troubles to the Turks. But I can understand that it is much popular to blame Israel in every problem in the world. The truth was never relevant to such discussion.

The contents of this "leaked" information is total rubbish. Does anyone really believe that Mossad and MIT will have a "secret" meeting, and then allow the contents to be leaked to the press? Give me a break! This is pure AKP propaganda to support their argument that foreign forces are driving the revolt. Nothing else. In fact, it is the normal Turks, that have had enough, and will keep this going, until the AKP changes their ways to include the interests of all citizens in their policies.

It is very hard going understanding the 'pigeon english' but I think you will find it is the other way round it is zionists that do the murdering by the thousands, mostly innocent men, women and children, in Palestine including both the West Bank and Gaza, Lebanon as well as Syrians, Turks and assassinations in Iran, Tunisia, Dubai and a number of European cities. That is why I explained they are such a troublesome nuance to the World and should be treated as the pariah they are and ignored.

Israel and the US are getting more desperate while Edogan is fiddling with Gezi Park. NATO and Israel wants to attack Syria before the S-300s are set up. They need Erdogan and the AKP.

Ilker, why are you guys obsessed with blaming Israel for all your problems? Are there not enough reasons for Iran to hate, confront, kill Turks? Is it not clear Turks 1)support armed Sunni men trying to control an area vital to Iran? 2)support Iraqi Kurds oil exports against Shia Iraq? 3)support Hezbolla defeate 4)Turk/US relations 5)Turks upholding sanctions. Israel stays out of Syria & Turkey & only accepts injured FSA fighters to hospitalize them to save lives.Stop blaming Israel- its YOU!!

Al Rashid, "Mossad trying to stir things up for Turkey" Isnt Turkey steered up already? You blame Mossad/Israel for everything? How about global warming? Is Israel responsible Turks support Al Nusra or FSA? Erdogans redesign of park? Turks support Iraqi Kurds? Turks are Sunni? Its clear whole region is steered up- not because of Israel but because of people like you. Just for record those Turks who died wernt unarmed- as every video indicates. Think about building, learning not killing, hating

you are right, but you forgot to mention: the biggest paid demonstration in human history how many sack of coals and breads are going around on these days ? it remembers me how in the 18th and 19th centuries the guys went from one bar to another , make the people drunk and than let them vote for the one who paid them ... or all the free beer and sausages the people got for voting.

If an alien read this newspaper and people's comments, he would be sure that Israel is the reason for entire events in the ME. I thought that this old school approach has passed from this world when the Arab spring started. Israel is a regional player, caring for it's interests, and some of them are in par with Turkey, that is it. So people. relax and calm down...

Al Rashid, I agree that anyone giving info that Iran & Syria are working against Turkey is ridiculous / obvious but im also not happy Mossad would share anything with Turks. Turkish govt turned Islamic extremists & supports terrorists who kill Israelis. Let Turks pay for their action by suffering from their own actions. Israel should not help people who buddy up to Israeli killers. Regarding "Zionisists" interests- every country serves its interests as Turk Intelligence serves Turkey- Daaaaaaa..
