The expectation for the year-end annual consumer price index (CPI) increased to 7.62 percent in the Turkish Central Bank’s survey for the first half of May. In the second half of April the expectation was 7.61 percent.

In the survey for the second half of April, the current account deficit expectation was $64,982.4 million and increased to $65,590.7 million.

The year-end expectation for the dollar exchange rate dropped to 1.7912 Turkish Lira. In the second half of April, the expectation was 1.7969 liras. The gross domestic product, which had been set as 3.7 percent in the second half survey of April, dropped to 3.6 percent in the first half survey of May.
