Göbeklitepe prepares for UNESCO
ISTANBUL
Paving work has started on the road leading to Göbeklitepe, the world’s oldest settlement in the southeastern province of Şanlıurfa. The settlement is Turkey’s nominee for the UNESCO World Heritage List at the 42nd session of the committee in 2018.
