Glock pistols found in PKK raid in southeast

Security teams have seized 11 smuggled Glock pistols, a gun widely used for assassinations, during an operation in which three people were also detained in the Uludere district of the southeastern province of Şırnak on June 23.After the Şırnak gendarmerie commandership determined that the outlawed Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) had smuggled pistols into Turkey to use in its potential assassination attacks, Uludere gendarmerie teams carried out the raid and found 11 Glock pistols. The teams also detained three men during the operation. An investigation into the suspects was ongoing.
