France, Germany want monthly eurozone summits: Sarkozy

France and Germany want summits of leaders of eurozone states to be held "every month, as long as the crisis lasts," French President Nicolas Sarkozy said today.

After meeting with German Chancellor Angela Merkel, Sarkozy said the two countries also want the monthly meetings to have "precise agendas."
