FM Çavuşoğlu and US counterpart Tillerson discuss Syria in phone call

Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu and his U.S. counterpart Secretary of State Rex Tillerson have spoken on the phone to discuss Syria and Iraq, state-run Anadolu Agency reported on Jan. 31.
The Syrian National Congress gathered in Sochi on Jan. 29-30. Turkey’s “Operation Olive Branch” in Syria’s northern Afrin district and Iraq were on the agenda, the agency reported.
