Tickets for the Turkish Airlines Euroleague Final Four, which will be held from May 11 to 13 in Istanbul, are about to be sold-out, a statement released from the organization said.

“Fans wishing to take part in a basketball weekend without equal, the 2012 Turkish Airlines Euroleague Final Four, should plan to act fast,” a statement released from the official Turkish Airlines Euroleague website said on March 21. “Five seating categories at the 14,535-seat Sinan Erdem Arena have already sold out, leaving only 10% of the seats remaining for the public at www.f4tickets.com.”

Panathinaikos Athens, Maccabi Electra Tel Aviv, CSKA Moscow and Montepaschi Siena fans have been the most active buyers during the selling period that began one month ago, the statement read.

It was also added that only 1,000 tickets to each of the four semifinalists will be allocated.

Currently, eight teams are playing for the Final Four spots.

Olympiacos has the upper hand over Montepaschi Siena after winning the first game of the series 82-75 on away court on March 21.

Tonight’s Game 2 in Siena is clearly must-win for the home team, just 48 hours after losing a 10-point, fourth-quarter lead and the opener to visiting Olympiacos.

In the other playoff series tonight, CSKA Moscow will try to make the series 2-0 over Gescrap Bizkaia Bilbao.

The first game was an easy 98-71 for CSKA behind Nenad Krstic’s 18 points.
