Farid Farjad to perform live in western province
Iranian-American violin master Farid Farjad is continuing his Turkey tour with a concert in the western province of Balıkesir tonight. The concert starts at 8 p.m. at Ayvalık Amphitheater and tickets are available at Biletix booths. Farjad has had several stage appearances in Turkey. Supporters of the Iranian regime had forced the violin virtuoso to leave the stage during a concert in Istanbul Oct. 20 after taking issue with the musician’s verbal criticisms of the Islamic republic.
