Ezginin Günlüğü at The Mekan
One of the popular alternative music bands, Ezginin Günlüğü will be at Istanbul’s The Mekan tonight at 11 pm for a special New Year concert.
Ezginin Günlüğü are known for their musical diversity and vocal harmonies. One of the strongest connections to their listeners is their use of the lyrics. During the 80’s and 90’s, the band were using well known poems and singing songs with political allusions and are still using poems but now they also started to write their own lyrics. Their music is based on Anatolian folk music, with a contemporary interpretation.
