Ennis sets scorching pace in heptathlon

Jessica Ennis, a poster girl for the London Games, has made a great start to her seven-discipline event.

British hope Jessica Ennis clocked 12.54 seconds, the fastest ever time for a heptathlete in the 100m hurdles. Ennis collected 2,249 points after the first two events. The heptathlon concludes on Aug. 4 after the long jump, javelin and 800m.
