Egypt to take Turkish system

CAIRO - Anatolia News Agency
Egypt’s newly appointed Justice Minister Ahmed Suleiman has said his country will take the Turkish judicial system as model for its own.

“I will work for our citizens to ease their proceedings in the courts by taking Turkey as a model,” vowed Ahmed Suleiman. Ahead of taking his new office, Suleiman said that before he was appointed as a minister, he had knowledge about the Turkish judicial system and he had attended the jurisdiction conference which was held in Ankara last month.

In the recent government reshuffle of Egyptian Prime Minister Hisham Qandil, nine ministers were replaced and Ahmed Suleiman was appointed as the new justice minister.
