But Andres doesn’t just make house, as his seminal “Andres II” album and subsequent releases prove, he is just as adept making hip-hop, down-tempo boogie, and more. Over the years he has worked with the likes of Theo Parrish, Moodymann and J Dilla, and recently started a new record label “La Vida” to reissue some of his lost classics.
