Detention warrants issued for 43 in Prime Ministry, related institutions over alleged Gülen links The Ankara Public Prosecutor’s Office issued detention warrants for some 43 people in the prime ministry and its related institutions on July 10 as part of the ongoing investigation into the Fethullahist Terrorist Organization (FETÖ), held responsible for last year’s coup attempt.

Six of those who had been issued detention warrants are currently on duty, while the other 37 were previously dismissed from their jobs.

All of the suspects were reportedly users of ByLock, the encrypted messaging application almost exclusively used by followers of the U.S.-based Islamic preacher Fethullah Gülen, according to officials.
