Countdown to Bodrum Dance Fest

The 13th annual International Dance Festival will be held this year in the Aegean province of Muğla’s Bodrum town from April 26 to May 1.

Organized by the Bodrum Dance Club with contributions by the Bodrum municipality, the festival will host 350 dancers from Bulgaria, Mongolia, Guinea, Sierra Leone, Romania, Thailand, Greece, Armenia, Georgia and India. Dancers from various Turkish cities will join the festival bringing the total number of dancers involved to 500. They will perform in and around Bodrum.

The six-day Bodrum Dance Festival will also involve corteges with costumes and music on the streets, opening and closing ceremonies of the festival, visits by participating countries’ directors to local administrations, the World Dance Day celebrations as well as parties held both day and night.

The festival committee will be supported by 30 young volunteers from 15 countries, including Germany, France, Spain and Italy. The team will organize promotional events before the festival and also prepare dance choreography.
