Chinese model gets jail term after posing in police outfit

A Chinese model has been sentenced to nine months in jail for insulting the police after posing in a sexy police outfit and posting the photos on the Internet in order to publicize a novel, The Sun has reported.23-year-old Wang Xiomeng posed for a detective novel impersonating a police officer with her blouse unbuttoned and peeling off a pair of tights.
After posting her photos to Chinese social network Sina Weibo, they received more than 500 "shares." However, several Chinese citizens lodged complaints about her.
She has been given a nine month jail sentence, but was not arrested as the sentence has been suspended for one year.
