British pop idol to come Istanbul

British star Jessie J, made into a pop idol with her latest hit “Bang Bang,” will meet her Turkish fans at Istanbul’s Volkswagen Arena on Sept. 11. 

Jessie J, sweeping the world with hits like “Domino,” “Price Tag,” “Nobody’s Perfect,” “Bang Bang” and gaining a huge a fan base in Turkey as well, will be in the city for a concert full of excitement, with a striking show and reclaimed songs. 

The concert was first scheduled for July 3 at Küçükçiftlik Park but postponed due to operations she recently had. Tickets bought for the original date will be valid for the new date.

Jessie J received the prestigious BRIT Award for “Critic’s Choice.” BBC crowned her with the high honor of Sound of 2011. She received a Grammy Award nomination in 2012. She also acted as the 2012 London Olympic Games Ambassador.
