Boy makes ‘miraculous escape’ after mom’s car runs over him in Istanbul

A three-year-old Turkish boy has emerged unscathed after his mother’s car ran over him in an incident that ended with what some Turkish social media described as a “miraculous escape.”
The incident occurred as the mother, identified as Nimet Ayyıldız, was parking her car in front of her house in Istanbul’s Kemerburgaz neighborhood on the evening of May 29, Doğan News Agency reported. She kept driving without noticing that her 3-year-old son, Yunus Emre, was lying on the ground.
Camera footage obtained by the agency shows the boy coming out from under the car unharmed as his mother abruptly halted the car in panic.
