Borusan’s BİPO redies to host opera stars

Borusan Philharmonic Orchestra (BIPO) hosts Grammy award-winning tenor Herbert Lippert and soprano Alexandra Reinprecht.

Borusan Philharmonic Orchestra (BIPO) will perform an exclusive New Year’s concert Jan. 10 with the orchestra hosting Grammy award-winning tenor Herbert Lippert and soprano Alexandra Reinprecht.

Each year BIFO stages an exclusive concert prepared by Viennese composers in celebration of the New Year. This year it will also host Austrian opera stars for an extra special and exclusive New Year’s concert.
The Austrian tenor Lippert is one of the most renowned tenors in the world. Working together with celebrated orchestras, he has also performed at some of the world’s major opera houses. In the beginning of his career, Lippert was a soloist at the Vienna Boys Choir and studied music at the Vienna University, where he graduated with extraordinary results.

Two conductors, Sir Georg Solti and Wolfgang Sawallisch, were the first to promote his voice in many outstanding productions, including “The Creation,” “Don Giovanni” and “Die Meistersinger.” The Grammy Award was given to him for his great presentation of the role David in “Die Meistersinger von Nürnberg.”
Together with the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra, he has not only established a deep and long-lasting relationship with the opera genre, but also in the Operetta-segment, where he cooperates with a dedicated team of the orchestra.

Reinprecht is another famous name among opera enthusiasts.
