BIM posts 298.9 mln liras

Turkish low-cost food retailer BIM posted a consolidated net profit of 298.9 million Turkish Liras for 2011, up 21.7 percent from 2010.

BIM announced in a regulatory filing to the Istanbul Stock Exchange on March 13 that its sales were up 24.5 percent, reaching 8.2 billion Turkish liras in 2011 from 6.5 billion Turkish liras in 2010. BIM said its operational profit in 2011 was 359.3 million liras.
